Well, it's July and I've been absent from this site for awhile. The Dinghy is complete. It was a wonderful adventure though driving to Sturgeon Bay every weekend got a little tiring.
Through March, April and May we continued to add laps and other parts to our project and watched and marveled as it became a boat.
Progress continues and more and more people stop by to watch that progress. Some big and some little.
During the months of May and June the final parts were built and fit to the boat. At this point phase 3 began, the finishing of the dinghy. I wasn't involved in much of the finish work because of other commitments but I got a large enough taste to recognize that standards were high. Put a piece of boat on top of a finished varnished other piece and you soon found out just how high the standards were but she looks terrific as a result.....
And finally everything is finished and the boat is ready for the raffle!
